Today is a remarkable day in my life

Last Updated on: May 2, 2025

Hi there,

Today is so special for me because,

  1.  I’m launching my blog & herewith posting my very first article.
  2. My little baby girl “Ekeesha” (we calls her Keeshi) turning two

I have an eager heart for blogging. Due to the world’s critical condition with COVID 19, in this quarantine season, I managed to find more spare time to do what I love to do.

So as a result here I’m launching my very own blog & sincerely welcome you for this little space.

As I mentioned above since its Keeshi’s birthday, I think it is ideal to share my plans on how I got ready for this day to celebrate.

Thinking, Searching, Asking, Designing

  • Turning TWO is the real age that every child is collecting their vocabulary, doing experiments & learning new things & they are always observing the environment around them.
  • I wanted to select a better theme which she could learn something
  • Suddenly “The Jungle” came to my mind
  • Of course, at least she could learn a few animal names with colors.
  • There is a patched wall in my living room that needs to be repainted. It is ideal for the task.
  • Due to the situation, it is not possible to purchase paints.
  • I found some white papers & crayons from my stationary cupboard, so drew some animals & colored.
  • Using glue pasted those on the said wall & some paper crafts like a sun with clouds, flowers, strawberries, leaves & grass used to hide the patched areas.

Have to tell you, there are so many mistakes in choosing colors & drawing animal shapes since I’m not a skilled painter but this is just done for my little one.

  • Oh! The most important thing in this masterpiece is “The tree” which created using an actual sketch of my baby’s hand and foot.

Making Birth Day Cake

If it’s a birthday, there must be a cake. All the shops are closed & no trust on online purchases at the moment.

  • Even though I’m an apprentice for baking some how made a cake with some cupcakes

Home Made Appetizers

  • Arranged some little appetizers which are Keeshi’s favorites
  • Also made a handmade memory book for her closer ones to write something for her.

In the early morning surprised her with a piece of Milk rice (we call it Kiri bath) one of her favorite with a little candle.

Every day is a day to celebrate if you see everything in a positive way. So be cheerful.

If you enjoyed this piece why not save to Pinterest for later??

Thanks for being part of my story!

Have a great day!
